Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran Church
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Whether you’re new to the area, searching for a church home, or simply visiting with family or friends, we are delighted you’re here. We pray your time at Immanuel Lutheran Church will be a blessing as we gather around God’s Word, receive His gifts, and encourage one another in the Christian faith.
Join Us for Worship
We invite you to worship with us each Sunday.
Divine Service with Holy Communion
Sunday • 9:00 a.m.
Bible Class & Sunday School
Sunday • 10:15 a.m.
What to Expect
Our worship follows the historic Lutheran liturgy, which is centered on God’s Word and the Sacraments. Hymns, Scripture readings, prayer, and biblical preaching all point us to Jesus Christ and His saving work for us.
Whether this is your first visit or you’ve attended a Lutheran church for years, we hope you’ll feel welcomed and encouraged.
Holy Communion
Our Belief and Confession
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at this congregation in the confession and glad confidence that, as he says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but his very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with him and with one another. Our Lord invites to his table those who trust his words, repent of all sin, and set aside any refusal to forgive and love as he forgives and loves us, that they may show forth his death until he comes.
Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith which is confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of this congregation and The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, and yet desire to receive the sacrament, are asked first to speak with the pastor. If you are not communing this day but wish to receive a blessing, please cross your arms over your chest at the railing.
Children in Worship
Children are an important part of our congregation, and families are always welcome in worship.
Following the Divine Service, children are invited to attend Sunday School while adults gather for Bible Class.
